Jo Henderson is a clinical nurse consultant who has a mix of adult’s and children’s experience. Her diverse background includes health promotion, weight management in children and emergency nursing. She was integral in the development of state wide health promotional and professional resources, both consumer and clinician facing, a web site and e-learning program, through the NSW Ministry of health. Most recently she has been working in the virtual outpatient service (virtualKIDS) for COVID positive children at The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Her experiences working in the COVID pandemic, expressed in poetry and sketch, are on display in the Melbourne Anxiety festival and in the Melbourne Art gallery Sept – Dec 2022.
She has a Bachelor of Healthcare with Professional Honours (Clinical Redesign), Cert Accident & Emergency Nursing, Cert General Nursing.
She has presented various topics at several state, national and international conferences.
