Dr Lisa Hall is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Director of Teaching and Learning at the School of Public Health, University of Queensland. A/Prof Hall is an epidemiologist, implementation scientist and health services researcher with significant policy experience at statewide and national levels. She is internationally recognized for her research which focuses on the interface between evidence, policy and implementation to improve the surveillance and prevention of healthcare associated infections. Since 2013, A/Prof Hall has been named as a Chief Investigator on grants and consultancies worth over $15 million.
A/Prof Hall is a technical expert on the Australian Commission of Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQHC) Healthcare Associated Infection Advisory Committee, a role she has held continuously since 2009. In addition, she has been an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Infection Control since 2016.
