Jan Gralton (BSc, PhD, GradCertHealthPol) is an experienced health policy advisor, who has worked in both healthcare and aged care settings. Jan also has a research background in microbiology and lectures at New York University.
Currently, Jan is the Senior Advisor in the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Infection Prevention and Control program at the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare. Jan has been involved in the development of a number of national infection control resources, including the national infection control guidelines, the national COVID-19 response, the Australian standards for the reprocessing of reusable medical devices, and the update of the national infection control learning competencies.
