Nicole is a Principal Research Fellow (Statistics) and Infectious Diseases Program Lead for the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI), Queensland University of Technology. She has led the design and analysis of several randomised trials in infection prevention and control, including environmental cleaning (REACH, CLEEN) and oral care to prevent non-ventilator hospital-acquired pneumonia (the HAPPEN study). Nicole’s trial-based research is complemented by her program’s contributions to improving research quality through transparent statistical reporting.
