Robert Robinson

Robert is a Clinical Nurse Consultant for the Infection Prevention Service at Hunter New England Local Health District.

He has 30 years nursing experience, with a clinical background in variety of speciality areas and management experience across both public and private hospitals.

Robert’s academic qualifications includes a post graduate Certificate in Infection Control, accredited nurse immuniser and other qualifications relating to nursing and Infection Prevention and Control.

He has presented at several local, state conferences and had poster acceptances at previous ACIPC conferences.

He has 21 years Infection Prevention and Control experience and has extensive clinical skills and knowledge across all aspects of the Infection Prevention Service.

During COVID Robert was extensively involved within the health care setting and aged care in ensuring staff maintain good Infection Prevention and Control practices. The process for delivering this information required some changes to how we usually provide education and training for staff.
