Sara Drew is an experienced Registered Nurse with extensive background in primary health care, immunisation, chronic disease management and IPC nursing. For the past 17 years of her career, Sara has worked in a variety of leadership, management, educator and clinical roles within Primary Health Networks and Education to support the PHC workforce. Sara joined APNA in June 2021 as the Nurse Programs Manager and Victorian IPC Helpline manager.

Sara’s passion is supporting and strengthening the role of PHC nurses, through workforce development and education, and raising the profile of PHC nursing with undergraduate nurses.

Sara is an accredited Nurse Immuniser with a strong interest in public health. Sara is currently studying the Graduate Certificate in Infection Prevention and Control through Griffith University completing October 2022 and holds a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
