Louise Laurie IPS Clinical Nurse Consultant with Barwon Health Louise has Post Graduate qualifications and an extensive background in Neonatal Nursing and Immunisation. Louise completed a Post graduate Certificate in Infectious Disease Prevention and Control in conjunction with the ACIPC Foundations in Infection Prevention and Control Course which paved the way for a career change into Infection Control. Louise is currently an IPS Clinical Nurse Consultant with Barwon Health. Louise has worked with the Department of Health as an Infection Control Nurse and on secondment with CQV in Infection Control as an Acting Regional Manager and Site Lead. In 2022 Louise was deployed through the Global Outbreak and Response Network (GOARN) and WHO with the assistance of ACIPC, to the Pacific Nation, Kiribati as an IPC Specialist to assist in their COVID-19 outbreak. Louise is currently studying a Master of Public Health. |
