Donna has been working in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for over 20 years. She has been working with the Microbiological Diagnostic Unit Public Health Laboratory based at the Doherty Institute in Melbourne since 2015. In this role, she provides IPC advice for the Victorian Department of Health primarily to non-acute healthcare facilities and other community-based practices, such as beauty therapists and tattoo artists.
