In a world where there appears to be ready access and so many platforms available for communication yet communication for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) has never been more complex and possibly never more grossly undermined or subject to question.
The importance of Communication acknowledged as the essential element in any effective working relationship and this never more applicable than today for infection prevention and control. The pandemic whilst responsible for many unprecedented health and societal challenges also elevated the focus on IPC both within our traditional healthcare but also far beyond. Achieving effective communication in an ever changing, highly complex healthcare environment let alone during a pandemic is not easy, further complicate this with the overshadowing and intertwining of different industries and their unique language. Let’s take a dive into communication and IPC in what’s hopefully a thought-provoking session that is bound to be the start of a very long conversation.
