Kristin Xenos
Senior Project Officer, Antimicrobial Stewardship, AURA, Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care
Kristin Xenos has been a Senior Project Officer in Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) with the Antimicrobial Use and Resistance in Australia (AURA) team of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care since 2018. Prior to that she was Senior AMS Pharmacist for the Western Sydney LHD. She has worked across many public hospitals across NSW. She has been a registered pharmacist since 2011.
She has an interest in infectious diseases, public health and has a Masters in Public Health and Health Management. She is also an accredited pharmacist, a fellow of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) and a member of the SHPA Infectious Diseases Leadership Committee.
She also does consulting work for the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and the Australasian College of Pharmacy (ACP). In her spare time, she is a co-host of the Purple Pen Podcast (@purplepenpod – a podcast all about clinical pharmacy) and continues to work in community pharmacy.
