Dr Torben Nielsen is a veterinary public health specialist with University of Adelaide, and is board certified with the European College of Veterinary Public Health. He has a broad research experience in animal health, behavior and welfare as well as human animal bond over a range of species. He has published peer reviewed publications and participated in national and international conferences for over 10 years as well as developed web-based training for veterinarians. Research experience in companion animals includes qualitative and quantitative studies in relation to play and welfare in cats, puppy raising experiences and human animal bond.
