Nenad Macesic

Dr. Nenad Macesic is a leading Infectious Diseases physician and researcher at the Alfred Hospital and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Macesic completed a Master of Bioinformatics at Columbia University, USA, then a PhD in applied genomics and bioinformatics at Monash University. Dr. Macesic has extensive clinical experience in caring for patients affected by antimicrobial resistance, in particular patients who have undergone solid organ or bone marrow transplantation. He is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University and is a Leader of the Centre to Impact AMR at Monash University where he chairs the Clinical Unmet Needs Working Group.
