A/Prof Jason Kwong is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Director of Infection Prevention & Control at Austin Health in Victoria, and holds an honorary position in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, University of Melbourne at the Peter Doherty Institute. He is deputy chair of the Healthcare Infection Control Special Interest Group within the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases and an associate editor for Infection, Disease & Health, the official journal of ACIPC. His research interests focus on the use of genomic technologies to enhance surveillance and control of infectious diseases in healthcare.
