Steve Neal

Steve is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in disability, aged care, and mental health across the UK and Australia. A qualified lead auditor and former Quality Manager in a large not-for-profit aged care organisation, Steve has led national and local initiatives to improve care quality and safety. Career highlights include contributing to the Aged Care Infection Control Guide for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, establishing a Community based ventilator support service, and developing a risk-based approach to supporting clients at home. In the past three years, Steve has worked as a Clinical Consultant, supporting over 50 aged care providers with clinical governance, medication management, infection control, registered nurse supervision, and workforce training. Steve is a board member for a home care provider in Victoria and is a passionate advocate for evidence-based, person-centred care in community and aged care settings.
