Sustainability is more than a buzzword that only focuses on environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing waste. Sustainability is the future of business and healthcare and now is the time to get started with the journey.

In this thought-provoking presentation, Kylie Robb delves into the forces that are shaping the sustainability agenda and how the dental profession globally is responding to these drivers. Kylie will also reveal the top United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are the most relevant to dentistry and share insights and ideas to align your efforts with these goals to achieve a more sustainable and equitable world by 2030.

Biography

Kylie is the Head of Practice Services at ADA NSW, a Fellow, and Board Director of ACIPC and is an experienced presenter providing leadership on sustainability, clinical governance and infection prevention and control (IPC) for the dental profession across Australia. She utilises her platform to advocate for sustainable business practices by integrating health services management and patient safety and quality frameworks into her work.

She was recognised by the World Health Organisation’s Western Pacific Regional Office for her dental IPC expertise, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America through her appointment onto their coveted International Ambassadors Program and is currently working towards postgraduate qualifications in sustainable business operations with the highly competitive Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership in the United Kingdom. Her qualifications includes: MHSM (Clinical Leadership), GradCert IPC, CICP-A, MAICD, FACIPC.
