Abstract:
Despite its importance in any One Health approach, the environment sector is still poorly understood. Taking the examples of emerging threats to human health, Dr Muriel Lepesteur will illustrate the importance of the environment, the gaps of knowledge and the barriers we have to overcome before undertaking a comprehensive One Health approach and mitigating environmental health risks in Australia.
