Anu Anuradha

Dr Anu Anuradha is a public health physician, currently working as the medical lead for the largest public health unit in Queensland located south of the river in Brisbane. Anu graduated in Medicine from South India and trained initially as an Ophthalmologist in the UK but was drawn towards the bigger picture whilst doing her Public Health Masters at Cardiff University.  She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Queensland and has been awarded an Associate Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.  She has an interest in surveillance for mass gathering events and was the medical lead for Communicable Diseases at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. She also holds an academic title with the School of Public Health, University of Queensland, and leads as Director of Research for the community arm of Metro South Health.
