Brad Prezant

Brad Prezant, MBA, MSPH, CIH, COH, CAQP is a Principal Scientist at Prezant Environmental, in Melbourne Australia.  He is an evidence-based public health scientist and Certified Occupational Hygienist with a background in epidemiology, ventilation, and hospital health and safety.  Mr. Prezant was the editor of a major standard of care document regarding indoor mould, Recognition, Evaluation, & Control of Indoor Mold (2007, AIHA), and is a current committee member and contributor to ASHRAE Standard 241-2023 Control of Infectious Aerosols.  He is a frequent speaker on health and safety, and ventilation, in health care occupancies.

Mr. Prezant conducts ventilation assessments in a wide variety of building types.  He establishes ventilation rates, verifies isolation, and traces contaminant movement through buildings using SF6 tracer ventilation methodologies.

Mr. Prezant developed a calculator based on Wells-Riley to assess risk of infection from COVID-19 In buildings.  In March of 2021Mr. Prezant managed a team of engineers, scientists, and contractors on behalf of Coronavirus Quarantine Victoria (CQV) to assess and modify ventilation to safely re-open the hotel quarantine program in Victoria
