Hi my name is Darren, I am an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) of Anaesthetics at one of South Australia’s largest public hospitals, Flinders Medical Centre (Southern Adelaide Local Health Network SALHN). I am also one of the Quality Improvement Research Coordinators for Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at SALHN, running Clinical Trials for the Department of Anaesthesia. I have been a perioperative nurse for 26 yrs and have worked in both public and private sector across my career. I have a strong passion for Environmental Sustainability in Healthcare, which has seen me become the chairperson of the Environmental Sustainability Committee for SALHN.
