Erin Flynn
Epidemiologist, Communicable Disease Control Branch, SA Health. 

 

Erin Flynn is a public health professional and epidemiologist with over fifteen years of experience in public health research in Australia and internationally. Before moving into public health, she worked as a registered nurse in acute care settings. 

Erin recently completed Australia’s only Field Epidemiology Training Program, the Master of Applied Epidemiology, at the Australian National University.  

Her areas of interest included the control of antimicrobial resistance, the application of molecular epidemiology, and infection prevention and control in resource-limited settings. 

She is currently an epidemiologist in the Communicable Disease Control Branch at SA Health, working on enteric diseases, and a researcher at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute and the University of Queensland.
