Fran is a registered nurse with 18 years experience in a variety of health settings, specialising in public health and critical care nursing.

She has completed Australia’s only Field Epidemiology Training Program, the Master of Applied Epidemiology, with her field placement at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Canberra Health Services.

She is currently the Clinical Nurse Consultant, Infection Prevention and Control Unit, Canberra Health Services. She is focussed on the use of data to inform decision making to drive better health outcomes and responsible resource allocation.
