Linda Dickey

Linda Dickey is the 2022 president for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).  She has clinical experience in adult critical care and nearly 30 years in infection prevention & control.  In September 2022 Linda retired from the University of California, Irvine where she worked for most of her career in epidemiology & infection prevention, quality and patient safety. She has provided IPC expertise to the Facilities Guidelines Institute, a US-based non-profit guidelines organization that develops design criteria for health care facility construction. She has also taught for20+ years for the American Society for Healthcare Engineering in courses related to healthcare design, construction and water management.  Linda currently consults privately in IPC and is hoping to adopt a rescue dog in the not-too-distant future.
