Mary-Rose Godsell is the Senior Nurse Advisor – Infection Prevention & Management for Northern Territory Health Service and has been working in Infection Prevention & Control and Healthcare since 1983. She has worked in New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Western Australia (WA), Victoria, and Northern Territory (NT) in Australia.
She developed and implemented the WA County Health Services Infection Prevention Program and policies. She worked as a Director of Quality & Safety with a focus on risk management and quality of patient care within Infection Prevention systems. She is a member of the HAI Advisory Committee for the Australian Commission of Safety and Quality in Health Care. She has presented at national conferences and international poster presentations and has several literature publications. She holds a Master of Advanced Practice in Infection Prevention & Control (Honours), Griffith University, and a Graduate Diploma in Health Services Management. |
