Dr Sally Havers is an experienced Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of Infection Control experience. Sally currently works as a Clinical Nurse Consultant at Darling Downs Health and is a certified Infection Control Practitioner (at Expert level). She completed a Master of Public Health in 2012 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 2019. Previous leadership roles include Board Director of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control, National Manager of Hand Hygiene Australia and RMD Program Manager at Austin Health, where she was responsible for the development and delivery of national and organisational wide strategic plans and practice improvement programs. Sally has published academic research in various peer-reviewed journals including the American Journal of Infection Control & Journal of Infection Prevention, as well as presented at both national and international conferences. Her passion is supporting clinicians in the delivery of the highest standard of patient care. |
