Yana Albrey has over 13 years of expertise as a registered nurse, garnered across diverse healthcare environments. Currently the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Infection Prevention and Management Unit at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals (RDPH) in the Northern Territory, she is a credentialed Infection Control Practitioner. 

With a career that has traversed multiple states, her journey includes pivotal infection control roles at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals in Perth, Western Australia. Her leadership proved indispensable during the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. In her role, Yana not only led with resilience but also ensured the provision of ongoing operational support to infection control staff spread across the NT. 

The unique landscape of the Territory has offered Yana an array of experiences that have enriched her infection control expertise. She is dedicated to providing a culturally sensitive infection control service, catering to the diverse healthcare consumers of the Territory.
