In this workshop we will identify and define potential core components of a peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) care bundle based on the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care’s Management of Peripheral Intravenous Catheters Clinical Care Standard. Components will include standardised tools and guidelines that support safe PIVC practices, with all components described and prioritised by clinicians as important for bundle implementation.
